Hi! I’m Candice, and I’m a Chicago based photojournalist by training and visual storyteller at heart. I honestly can’t remember not using a camera to tell a story, and I started photographing at age six (which means I’ve been a photo geek most of my life). I’ve worked as a photojournalist for 20 years for some of the largest publications in the country, and have taught photojournalism at Northwestern University for 12 years. As a staff photographer with the Chicago Tribune, I was part of a team that won a Pulitzer Prize in 2000. Photography has always been my passion, and I am so honored to be recognized for what I love to do. Today, I use my experience in photojournalism to document the amazing moments that tell your story. I capture candid, honest and emotional moments between you and your loved ones — the big ones, the small ones, and the ones you almost didn’t remember. Your life is full of moments. It's my job to document them.
